Lauren's Eighth Month

 1/6/05: Lauren has had a lot of accomplishments this month, (such as clapping, pushing buttons, crawling, and standing) and we do believe that now she is actually, finally, teething.  Perhaps we'll see some pearly whites soon!  There is a picture update in the Trips section from our Christmas vacation, but here are some more from our time at home.

Gruia read the Christmas story to us as we celebrated an early family Christmas before our trip.

Mom and Dad made it to Midnight, but Lauren and Mr. Bear partied in her crib snooze-style.

Her first highchair experience at a restaurant. Hey, didn't we get rid of that pacifier?

She thought that the Elmo slipper on her foot was hilarious :).

She now enjoys standing for short periods of time while holding onto something.

It's so amazing to see how little her feet are compared to ours!

Lauren was hearing animal sounds from the song "Old MacDonald had a farm", and just stared at the player in awe. We are learning quickly that she loves animals!

At a Mom's play group for our Sunday School class, Lauren had a blast interacting with Clara who has nearly identical methods of communication.

 

12/21/05: We will be spending some time with family in the near future which will be sure to include a lot of picture taking, so we're updating some pictures now to spread the wealth!  Lauren has had some very exciting developments recently that are shown in the Video section!  (For those of you who cannot view the videos... she is now able to clap, turn toys off and on, and scoot-crawl!)  MERRY CHRISTMAS!

 

12/7/05: Seven months old and ready to begin another!  Here are a couple photos of her morning.  Please enjoy the last of her seventh month while you wait for more pictures :)!
