The last two photos above were both included because she should get double recognition for being a happy baby less than 3 hours after getting 4 shots in her thighs! Doctor appointment update: She is doing very well, weighing 10 pounds, 10.5 ounces, and she is 23 1/4 inches long! Our thoughts about her intelligence prove true, as her weight is in the 50th percentile, and her head is in the 75-90th percentile :). An additional note on the last two pictures - she is in her crib but not swaddled in a blanket. She no longer needs to be wrapped up for naps if we lay her down at the right time!
Below are a few more recent pictures to finish up this amazing month. Where is Lauren in the top left picture? Inside the house with our friends as we go on a date for our 4 year wedding anniversary - her first time being without both Mom and Dad! The right picture in the bottom row shows her ears covered during "Batman Begins" (great movie!) in a big theater - she slept through the whole thing!
6/27/05: Lauren has been growing so much lately! She is now weighing 10 pounds, 3.8 ounces! We've been having a lot of fun watching how she changes from day to day. Below are some fun pictures for you to enjoy. There are a few more new pictures of Lauren in the Life! and Trips sections.

The top left picture is of Lauren in her Father's Day outfit - "Daddy's Girl" is the text on the dress :).
The middle row is another photo shoot done by Mom as she is adoring her little girl. Our little "pretty in pink" Lauren is showing off some of her new skills - reaching her ear with her left hand and attempting to get her right thumb in her mouth. The picture on the far right flaunts a bit of a smile. She has been smiling quite a bit, even to a couple of people other than Mom and Dad! Very cute to say the least!
The bottom left picture catches her staring at her feet, which is not difficult for us to do since she stares at them quite a bit now that she has discovered them! What is that big green sack that Lauren is dwarfed by? Check out our Life! update to find out! Lastly, Lauren has really been enjoying her swing. Most of the time she is put in the swing awake and ends up asleep!
6/17/05: Coming up on 6 weeks of life, Mom and Dad would like to show off a few more pictures :) ...
Top row: Lauren before her shot from the doctor (Mommy doesn't like shots!), and then two pictures after the shot in which she expresses her thoughts in body language ... Middle row: Two shots of Daddy and Lauren on the left (we were excited to bring her to a park in her Snugli so we took a picture at home, but then we ended up leaving it at home on accident, so Daddy carried her most of the way!), and two pictures in which we caught a smile on the right :)!
Bottom row: Lauren looking for alternatives for dinner while waiting on a bottle that she cannot guarantee will ever come. Enjoy!
6/7/05: Wow! We now embark on her second month of life, which we're sure will be filled with very exciting times and new challenges for all three of us! Here are some photos of our little one month old for you to enjoy (with comments courtesy of Lauren)!
